 VCC Translations
This feature uses Google’s automatic text translator. Although Google’s software is very sophisticated, the translation of career and psychological tests requires translation back to English and further psychometric research. Spanish career tests are under development. Editions in other languages will follow. Meanwhile, please note that automatically translated tests may produce invalid and misleading results.
This automatic translation feature is primarily intended to help English Language Learners navigate large databases in the VCC. The AutomatedAdvisor program, for example, contains 350,000 pages of occupational and educational information. Other resources, such as the scholarship and medical information tutorials, make use of links to enormous external databases. Google’s translation software has learning capabilities, and so will improve over time.
