The Skills Profiler

The Skills Profiler from CareerOneStop matches your self-rated skills with the skill requirements of various jobs which in turn are linked to employment information and prospects in the geographical area of your choice. Taking the Skills Profiler opens a new window in your browser, temporarily focusing your attention on the CareerOneStop site. When you have completed your skills profile, you can print it or save it on your computer as a document or bookmark. If you have created an ECAP or Automated Advisor account in the VCC, you can explore any of the recommended occupations and save information on them for later use. The ECAP program permits you to upload your skills profile document as an exhibit.

You may:

• Take the CareerOneStop Skills Profiler
• Review the occupations in the VCC suggested by the Skills Profiler
• Log into your Automated Advisor account to save occupations and information suggested by the Skills Profiler
• Upload your Skills Profile to your ECAP account (under development).
