Most resources offered in the Virtual Counseling Center do not require special User IDs or Passwords. They may be accessed directly by simply following the links and instructions.

Some resources allow you to create an account in which to save information for review at a later date. These include the Automated Advisor program and many career assessment devices. The Automated Advisor permits you to store information on occupations and schools of interest to you as well as your career test scores. If you take a career test as a guest, you should print the relevant pages if you want to refer to your scores later or insert them into a different resource. Creating an account in the Automated Advisor is a much more efficient process.

Under Development

If you are a high school student in Arizona you may be especially interested in the VCC’s Education and Career Action Plan (ECAP). The Arizona State School Board recently made completing an ECAP a graduation requirement.

The VCC’s ECAP permits you to store information pertaining to your goals in four areas: Academic, Career, Post Secondary Education, and Extra-Curricular Activity. You also have the option of sharing this information with your school counselor or advisor and your parents or guardians. If you create an ECAP account, the user ID and Password you select will serve in the Automated Advisor and elsewhere.
